Marc Remus was born in Germany and educated in the United States. He traveled to more than 50 countries and lived in Japan and Honduras.
In 1996 he graduated with distinctive honors from renowned Art Center College of Design in Pasadena/California. Since 1997 he has been free-lancing in Europe and the United States as fine artist and illustrator.
Remus' versitility is exceptional. He creates children's illustrations, writes children's stories, paints abstracts as well as tight renderings. But most of all he is known for his citiescapes.
In recent years Remus has developed his own painting technique which is based on a secret tea and coffee mixture. He layers watercolors, acrylics, pastels and Matte Medium on top of it. This technique is used mainly for the cityscapes which have become extremely popular and are now available in over 40 galleries in 30 cities in Germany and the United States.
Remus offers limited edition prints in three sizes. All of his work is touched up by hand, signed and limited to only 200. For odering please contact any of the galleries listed above in the gallery section.
Remus continues to paint new cities every year. With over 150 images of cities he is now one of the leading cityscape artists in Germany.
